Luis Ronzón is one of the coolest chefs I’ve met. His food carries passion and patriotism, and through this medium, he celebrates the culture, traditions and nature-given ingredients of his homeland.
I first met Luis Ronzón back in February 2018 when I visited Chablé Resort in Mexico, where he’s the executive chef, working alongside Jorge Vallejo. His talent has taken him to some of the top kitchens in the world, including award-winning Noma in Copenhagen and Quintonil in Mexico City.
